Stop Smoking Cigarettes

 

The smell of cigarettes can be overpowering and the smoker tends to carry around a stench. Many people smoke to relieve stress and because of the nicotine addiction that comes with cigarette smoking. In addition, nonsmokers don’t really enjoy when a smoker smoke around them. In short, it can be hard to stop smoking cigarettes and the person need help to quit.

Many people will try smoking because they think it’s easy to quit. However, the quitting phase is physically and mentally challenging and many people require some kind of nicotine replacement or a stop smoking aid when quitting smoking. If you decide to smoke then you want to make sure to have the mental strength to quit when necessary. Every time a person smokes a cigarette the person is releasing second hand smoke into the environment. Meaning, anyone that’s near the smoker will have to inhale the smoke. In addition, cigarette smoke contains around 1000 dangerous chemicals and the released smoke contains around 250 dangerous chemicals. Moreover, a nonsmoker would be affected by second hand smoke and be forced to breathe in harmful chemicals because of somebody else bad habit.

Many people who smoke have problems with bad breath and stained teeth. If you are a smoker then take note to a person’s body language when having a conversation. Some people don’t like the smell of smoker’s breath and don’t like receiving items from a smoker’s house. Many items that come from a smoker’s house tend to have a stench. Also, a smoker can make a person uncomfortable by having a conversation. This can lead to the smoking affecting social and relationship problems. For example, some people don’t enjoy kissing a person that smokes cigarettes. In short, a person will quit dating someone who refuses to quit smoking cigarettes.

Smoking can affect relationships with spouses, family members and coworkers. You will have problems with anyone that’s not a smoker. Nonsmokers don’t really want people smoking in their presence or home. On the other hand, the main reason to give up cigarettes is because it is detrimental to a person’s health. It can cause lung cancer and cardiovascular disease.  It can also cause emphysema and chronic bronchitis. The number of cigarettes a person smokes a day will have a major effect on what illness will be developed from the habit.

Male smokers are ten times more likely to die from smoking compared to female smokers. In addition, some side effects are erectile dysfunction and impotency. Furthermore, there are many more reasons to stop smoking cigarettes, but one’s health should be the deciding factor.
